The island is tidally accessible by foot or boat. At a minimum, there
is a two hour window at low tide (every 12 hours) when visitors may walk
to the island from their car. At other times, a row boat is available.
The island is about 300 yards off shore at high tide. There are parking
spaces at the tip of Long Point to park your car as there are no vehicles
allowed on the island. Arrangements for ferrying you and your luggage
to the island can be made prior to your arrival.
